The repertoire of this choral collection ranges from the Baroque via the Romantic era to modern choral music. New settings of well-known Christmas songs have been especially composed for this collection. Two third of the arrangements are for Coro SSA and piano, about one third for Coro SSAA a cappella. Many renowned composers contributed to this choral collection (Ludwig Böhme, Jürgen Essl, Bobbi Fischer, Clytus Gottwald, John Høybye, Grayston Ives, Tilman Jäger, Fredo Jung, Ko Matsushita, Colin Mawby, York Sommer, Józef Świder, Alan Wilson). Many of the contemporary arrangements draw on jazz and swing styles, or on pop music. The repertoire is suitable for Advent, Christmas, the New Year and Epiphany. In the conductors volume includes a CD (Ulmer Spatzen Chor, Hans de Gilde) with selected arrangements.

Prof. Dr. Klaus K. Weigele ist seit 2002 Direktor der Landesakademie für die musizierende Jugend in Baden-Württemberg, ehrenamtlich engagiert er sich seit vielen Jahren im Präsidium des Landesmusikrats. Darüber hinaus ist er seit vielen Jahren als Chorleiter und Stimmbildner an der Landesakademie, bei Workshops, Werkwochen und Fortbildungen für Lehrkräfte tätig. Für seine Arbeit wurde er 2014 mit dem Gräfin-Sonja-Gedächtnispreis der Stiftung Singen mit Kindern ausgezeichnet. Mit seinem Kinderchor SingsalaSing hat er schon mehrere CDs aufgenommen. Er ist Autor und Herausgeber zahlreicher Lieder- und Chorbücher – u.a. der Schulchorbuch-Reihe chorissimo! im Carus-Verlag, ebenso von Artikeln und Schriften zum Thema Musik, Musikvermittlung und Musikpädagogik. He is the editor of several songbooks and textbooks, holds a teaching position at the Mannheim University of Music and is active as a lecturer, choirmaster and adjudicator for various music associations, including the BMCO (Federal Association Choir & Orchestra) and the BMU (Federal Association for Music Education).
